Biomed Firm Says “Yes” to Virginia Expansion

Bostwick Laboratories will invest $4.6 million to expand its headquarters facility in Glen Allen, Virginia. The expansion is expected to create more than 600 new jobs over the next three years. The company specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of prostate cancer and other urological conditions. "The decision to expand our facilities in Virginia was based on the Richmond area's available labor pool, favorable cost of living, quality of life, and centralized East Coast location," says David Bostwick, M.D., the firm's president and CEO. In addition to its Virginia headquarters, the company operates facilities in Florida, Arizona, New York, and the United Kingdom.
