Magna Seating Of America Plans Headquarters-Operations Hub In Novi, Michigan

The subsidiary of Magna International plans to consolidate activities into a single facility to house its engineering, research and development, and sales, marketing teams and headquarters in Novi, according to the Michigan Economic Development Corporation.
The project, which is expected to generate more than $48 million in total capital investment and create 164 jobs, was approved for a $984,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant. In addition, the city of Novi is offering support to the project in the form of property tax abatement.
Michigan Economic Development Corporation CEO Steve Arwood said investments made by Magna and others “demonstrate Michigan’s improving economy and the success of our strategy to help companies grow and add jobs here.”
