Applied Predictive Technologies Expands Arlington County, Virginia, Headquarters
08/11/2016
“We are excited to take on a new chapter in our growth with an expanded headquarters that will continue to attract some of the very best tech talent to our region,” said Anthony Bruce, CEO of Applied Predictive Technologies. “We look forward to continuing to call Arlington home.”
Virginia Economic Development Partnership worked with Arlington County to secure the project for Virginia. Governor McAuliffe approved a $1.75 million grant from the Commonwealth’s Opportunity Fund to assist the County with the project. Funding and services to support the company’s employee training activities will also be provided through the Virginia Jobs Investment Program.
“Applied Predictive Technologies, headquartered in Virginia, is a world-class company and it was a high priority of our administration to ensure that APT continued to grow in the Commonwealth,” Governor Terry McAuliffe said. “APT is a strong corporate citizen that boosts Virginia’s position as a technology industry leader, and its decision to expand in Arlington County is a testament to the region’s high-tech workforce and IT infrastructure. We want to ensure our existing businesses continue to choose the Commonwealth, and this significant project is evidence of our ongoing success in diversifying and building a new Virginia economy.”
“APT’s expansion in Arlington County attests to the superior business environment that Virginia offers,” said Secretary of Commerce and Trade Maurice Jones. “The retention of APT as a corporate partner not only creates new jobs but also supports business growth throughout the Commonwealth through its client services. I congratulate Arlington County on this exciting news and wish the company the best in this next phase of its business development.”
