01/28/2021
Documotion will renovate an existing building at 971 Greenlick Court in Columbia. Once complete, the facility will be Documotion’s new manufacturing operations for point-of-sale labels. This will be the company’s first operation outside of California where it is headquartered.
“Documotion Research, Inc. is expanding production of its patented line of StickyPOS self-cleaning linerless labels. We are thrilled to have selected Columbia, Tennessee as a manufacturing site and want to thank the state of Tennessee, TVA, Maury County and the City of Columbia for extending us a very warm welcome and support to locate here as we continue to grow our business nationwide.” said Joel Van Boom, president, Documotion Research, Inc.
“I welcome Documotion to Tennessee and thank everyone who came together to bring this project to fruition. I’m confident that Columbia’s highly-skilled workforce will be a valuable asset to the company’s growth, and I look forward to seeing how Documotion will further strengthen Maury County’s business landscape,” Governor Bill Lee noted.
“TNECD is proud to welcome another California-based company to Tennessee. The recent influx of West-Coast companies to Tennessee underscores our state’s exceptional pro-business climate, dedicated workforce and outstanding quality of life. We thank Documotion for choosing Maury County and creating 80 new jobs in Columbia,” TNECD Commissioner Bob Rolfe said.
