Crozier Welding Plans Expanded Manufacturing Plant in Coshocton, Ohio
07/15/2020
Founded in 1980, Crozier manufactures high quality equipment to oil and gas producers in the Utica/Marcellus Shale plays as well as other Shale sites through-out the country. Prior to the decision to purchase the Brydet building, Crozier was operating in over 48,500 sq. ft. in three facilities in Coshocton.
Crozier received a $75,000 JobsOhio Grant to assist with the project as an incentive. JobsOhio, OhioSE and the Coshocton Port Authority worked with Crozier on the purchase of its new facility, which is projected to create 15-25 new jobs.
Bob Crozier, Owner of Crozier Welding, said, “we continually strive to make a positive impact in the industry as well as our community. This investment positions Crozier Welding for future growth and increased productivity.”
“Crozier Welding has found its niche in the oil and gas industry and this move will allow the company to continue growing its niche business and also diversify its operation,” said Ed Looman, manager of engagement and relationships for OhioSE. “This project is a great example of how JobsOhio and local and regional agencies work together to assist growing businesses in Ohio.”
“The Coshocton County Port Authority brought this opportunity forward to OhioSE, which in turn was able to get JobsOhio involved. Economic development is all about partnerships and teamwork,” Looman added.
According to Tiffany Swigert, Executive Director at Coshocton Port Authority, “Coshocton is honored to have Crozier Welding, a key equipment supplier to some of the country’s largest oil and gas producers expanding their operations in their new location on SR 83 South. Bob and Brad Crozier take great pride in their product as well as their employees producing this high quality equipment. This expansion allows for their potential hiring of fifteen to twenty-five new jobs in the future. We are grateful to Crozier's commitment to Coshocton and excited to see Crozier Welding’s continued growth.”
