Vistek Medical Relocates Operations to Dayton, Ohio

According to the firm, the move better positions the company to serve their growing customer base and will be effective January 1st, 2016. The expansion will include new 5-Axis milling machines, EDM, and expanded finishing and packaging capabilities.
“This expansion and relocation will enable us to capitalize on manufacturing scale, expand value added services, and leverage a highly skilled local workforce to meet the increased demands of our growing customer base,” stated Rick Wiegand, CEO of GEMCITY Engineering and Manufacturing.
The company produces components focused on the Orthopedic, Spinal, Trauma, and Extremity markets. Vistek Medical provides material procurement, Swiss turning, milling, testing, finishing, device assembly, and shipping services to its customers. Vistek Medical is FDA registered as well as ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 certified.
“Business conditions remain strong and we have secured key new customer wins in 2015 that will continue to drive revenue in the coming year. The relocation allows us to expand on our value proposition and better serve our customers in a highly competitive segment,” said John Ducaji, Director of Sales and Business Development at Vistek.
