Alleguard Expands Lancaster, Ohio, Manufacturing Complex

Alleguard, formerly Fabricated Packaging Materials Inc., a leader in the engineering, delivery, and service of protective foam solutions, plans to expand its operations in Lancaster, Ohio. The $900,000 project is expected to create 85 jobs over the next few years.

The company will repurpose existing space while investing in new equipment increasing its capacity to deliver custom foam solutions, including EPS Foam components, protective packaging, construction materials and cold chain solutions.

“Lancaster is the perfect place for us to create a Midwest production center capable of meeting our company’s growing demands. The incredible talent pipeline, concentration of manufacturing and logistics companies and business-friendly environment in the Columbus Region is the type of ecosystem we were looking for when we consolidated six diverse brands to come together to create a true leader in engineering, delivery and custom foam solutions,” said Trisha Feely, Vice President of Human Resources at Alleguard.

Fairfield County Commissioners are providing a training grant to Alleguard and utilizing the Fairfield County Workforce Center to support training efforts.

“Alleguard’s expansion in Lancaster will bring the latest technology to ensure its custom foam solutions are on the cutting edge of supporting its clients in construction insulation, cold-chain, protective packaging and more,” noted J.P. Nauseef, president and CEO of JobsOhio. “With its latest investment in the Columbus Region, Alleguard is hiring immediately for 85 new positions to meet growing demand from its rapidly diversifying customer base.”

Headquartered in Tennessee, Alleguard offers a variety of multi-material foam solutions that serve appliance, automotive, construction, and pharmaceutical industries.
