Milgard Windows & Doors Opens Manufacturing Facility In Grand Prairie, Texas
03/12/2015
This will be the first Milgard manufacturing plant in Texas. The new facilities are expected to create over 150 jobs in the next 4 years. According to company officials, the proximity of the new facilities will allow Milgard to be closer to customers in Texas and parts of Oklahoma, enabling faster deliveries and even better customer service. Besides the manufacturing facilities in Grand Prairie, Milgard will have service and sales presence in each of Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin and Houston.
“Texas is attractive to us for many reasons, including its tremendous housing market growth. We’ve found Texas to have a very business friendly environment and have enjoyed strengthening our partnerships with local dealers and trade professionals. It’s an optimal time for Milgard to invest in putting more resources to better serve these customers,” said Randy Buchanan, General Manager of Milgard’s Texas facilities.
“We will continue to expand operations and offer new and innovative product designed specifically for the Texas market,” said Buchanan. “We recognize our customers in Texas have specific desires concerning not only functionally, but also in terms of aesthetic options to complement the architectural style of Texas homes.”
