Nova Bus Opens Development Center in Eustache, Quebec, Canada

The center, which occupies a total of 22000 sq. ft. over three floors, was developed to create a work environment that is both conducive to creativity and compliant with strict ergonomic standards for the sake of its 150 employees.
"These new offices will be a place of excellence in research and innovation, which will foster the continued advancement and development of Nova Bus vehicles," said Louis Côté, Senior Director, New Product Development & Business Transformation. The company is focusing its efforts on bus electrification and sustainable mobility technologies in order to offer products that are always increasingly reliable, safer, and more environmentally friendly.
"Over the past 25 years, we have been striving to satisfy our customers by building buses that meet their expectations and those of public transit users. These days, technologies and processes evolve at a very high rate. With this new Development Center, we intend to be at the forefront and to offer sustainable transit solutions that meet the needs of smart connected cities," added Martin Larose, Vice President and General Manager of Nova Bus.
According to company officials, The Nova Bus Development Center aims to be the place where the most innovative ideas for sustainable mobility will come from. The company wants to make it the laboratory where the future is prepared and where the buses that will contribute to the North American public transit revolution are conceptualized. Today's concrete commitment to research, development and innovation symbolizes Nova Bus' ambitions for tomorrow.
