Ohio Tax Credit Authority Approves 13 Corporate Expansion Projects Expected To Create 1,311 Jobs

Projects, brought to the board by JobsOhio and approved by the TCA, include:
Gwynnie Bee Inc. expects to create 401 full-time positions, as a result of the company’s relocation project in the City of Groveport. Gwynnie Bee is an online, high-fashion apparel retailer. The TCA approved a 60 percent, nine-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
S&T Automotive America expects to create 80 full-time positions, as a result of the company’s new location project in City of Grove City (Franklin Co.). S&T Automotive America is a Tier 1 automotive supplier producing chassis components. The TCA approved a 50 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
The Bon-Ton Department Stores, Inc.,expects to create 139 full-time positions, as a result of the company’s project in the Village of Obetz. Bon-Ton is an in-store and online department store. The TCA approved a 50 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
Cattron-Theimeg Inc., expects to create 55 full-time positions, as a result of the company’s new location project in the City of Warren. Cattron-Theimeg manufactures remote control products and aftermarket services for the mining, commercial, mobile, railroad and other industrial markets. The TCA approved a 55 percent, nine-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
Cleveland Tech Holdings expects to create 20 jobs for the term of the agreement. Cleveland Tech specializes exclusively in the ownership, development and operation of wholesale and compliant-grade data centers. The TCA approved a 100 percent, 15-year data center sales tax exemption for this project.
HDI Landing Gear USA, Inc.,expects to create 65 full-time positions as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Strongsville. HDI specializes in manufacturing and the assembly of small to medium landing gear. The TCA approved a 60 percent, nine-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
Homeworks, Inc., expects to create 162 full-time positions as a result of the company’s expansion project in the Village of Boston Heights. Homeworks is a privately-held home furnishings designer and retailer. The TCA approved a 60 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
Mohawk Fine Papers Inc., expects to create 100 full-time positions, as a result of the company’s expansion project in Saybrook Township. Mohawk Fine Papers manufacturers fine papers, envelopes and specialty substrates for commercial and digital printing. The TCA approved a 50 percent, seven-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
North Coast Container Corp., expects to create 40 full-time positions, as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Cleveland. North Coast Container Corp. serves the container needs of industrial customers, manufacturing 55-gallon steel shipping containers.The TCA approved a 40 percent, five-year Job Creation Tax Credit.
Continental Structural Plastics Inc., expects to create 56 full-time positions, as a result of the company’s expansion project in the Village of North Baltimore. Continental Structural Plastics manufactures composite products, using molding to supply structural and paint-ready exterior parts for the auto, heavy truck and HVAC industries. The TCA approved a 50 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for this project.
Manufacturing Business Development Solutions, expects to create 40 full-time positions, as a result of the company’s new location project in the City of Upper Sandusky. Manufacturing Business Development Solutions manufactures various hoses, fittings and assemblies for Toyota, Honda and Nissan auto suppliers. The TCA approved a 40 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit.
Meijer Stores Limited Partnership expects to create 103 full-time positions, as a result of the company’s expansion project in the City of Tipp City. Meijer is a supercenter grocer that sells food, merchandise, beverages, furniture, gifts, toys, etc. The TCA approved a 60 percent, eight-year Job Creation Tax Credit.
