The company pioneered development of composite lids and cups for a variety of food packaging applications. Double H also manufactures extruded products for the paper, film and foil converting industry. Double H opened its Morristown facility in 2008. It currently employs approximately 50 people in Hamblen County.
“Double H Tennessee, LLC. is excited about our investment in Tennessee and Hamblen County, in particular. We appreciate the private-public partnership assisting us in bringing additional teammates to the Double H family. We look forward to continued growth in Hamblen County, Tennessee,” said Double H Companies President Joseph Harp.
“While we travel the globe to recruit new businesses to invest in Tennessee, it is always special when we can support the expansions of existing businesses. Double H is a tremendous member of Morristown’s business community, and I look forward to its expansion bringing quality jobs to the residents of Hamblen County,” said TNECD Commissioner Bob Rolfe.
“This large investment will have a very positive effect on our communities. The Governor, legislature and our county officials have worked diligently to attract investment and break down barriers to job growth and it is producing results. It is also testament to the great people who make up our local workforce,” State Sen. Steve Southerland (R – Morristown) said.
