Accu-Mold Expanding in Ankeny, Iowa, with Help of Local Business Investment Policy
10/08/2010
"We have every reason to be hopeful there will be even more job creation," Roger Hargens, company president and CEO, told the council. Accu-Mold planned the expansion due to the need for more high-tech manufacturing space.
Ankeny's economic development department recently began a Local Business Investment Policy incentives program, which provides abatements and property tax rebates for up to 10 years. Accu-Mold is the first company to take advantage of the program.
