SupplyHouse.com Plans Fulfillment Center in Columbus, Ohio, Region
12/10/2014
“We have been fortunate to experience rapid growth, which has led to the need to open up a new fulfillment center,” said Josh Meyerowitz, Founder/CEO, SupplyHouse.com. “The Columbus Region’s prime market access and proximity to our customer base made it a top contender for our next location, and the area’s low operating costs for e-commerce sealed the deal.”
SupplyHouse.com plans to invest $300,000 in machinery and equipment in a proposed leased facility in the Columbus Region. Although no lease has been signed, the company is seeking approximately 87,000 square feet of space to house fulfillment operations. Hiring for the company’s 40 new jobs is expected to begin in early 2015. The jobs will include pick/pack and receiving positions.
A city incentive for the project is expected to go before Columbus City Council for vote later this month.
