12/16/2016
“Niagara Bottling, LLC, is committed to providing a high-quality product with unmatched quality service to its customers,” said Niagara Bottling Executive Vice President Brian Hess. “The location in Marshall County allows the company to fulfill that commitment by providing an optimal solution that is close to both its existing and growing customer market. We will also employ numerous area residents through the creation of these highly skilled manufacturing positions in northern Mississippi. Niagara appreciates the responsiveness from the state, regional and local partners in bringing this project to successful completion.”
Mississippi Development Authority provided assistance for infrastructure improvements and workforce training. The Appalachian Regional Commission, Tennessee Valley Authority and Marshall County are assisting with the project, as well. Niagara Bottling expects to begin production in Marshall County in early 2017.
“MDA appreciates the Niagara Bottling Team for choosing a Mississippi location, creating exciting new career opportunities for the people of Marshall County,” said MDA Executive Director Glenn McCullough, Jr. “We salute the teamwork of the Marshall County Industrial Development Authority, the Marshall County Board of Supervisors and TVA, which with the MDA team was instrumental in bringing Niagara Bottling to our state.”
“The company’s investment and new jobs it will bring to Marshall County are a reflection of the state’s supportive business climate and skilled workforce,” Governor Phil Bryant said.
