12/02/2015
Founded in 1932, MMC Contractors National is a nationally certified mechanical contractor offering construction services to a number of sectors including healthcare, industrial and energy, among others. The growth brings the company’s local workforce to about 100. New positions include equipment designers, installation technicians, project coordinators, company managers and back-office support personnel.
“It’s an exciting time to be operating in south Kansas City,” said Keith Andrews, President of MMC Contractors National. “The area is booming, and we are a part of that growth both in terms of our clients’ projects and our own growth.”
“Missouri’s economy is continuing to grow—making it the perfect location for companies like MMC Contractors to expand and create jobs,” said Mike Downing, Director of the Missouri Department of Economic Development. “We will continue to invest in our workforce so that more companies can create good paying jobs for families in Kansas City and throughout the state.”
To assist MMC Contractors National with its expansion, the Missouri Department of Economic Development has offered a strategic economic incentive package that the company can receive if it meets strict job creation and capital investment criteria.
