Global Foods Processing Investing $10M in Sioux City, Iowa, Expansion

The company is expanding the facility due to increased demand for global pork exports. It will expand its value-added food processing business. The new facility will use about 10 acres of land of a 23-acre parcel in its first phase. The planned building will total 67,000 square feet.
Global Foods expects to begin construction by early 2012. The company has been located in Sioux City for 17 years.
