04/06/2020
According to company officials, Lee Spirits recently manufactured 1,000 two ounce bottles of hand sanitizer with 900 of the bottles being given to El Paso County Public Health. The remaining 100 bottles were given away to the public at the group’s tasting room, Brooklyn’s on Boulder Street. To date, hundreds of gallons of hand sanitizer have been ordered from clients such as UCHealth, as well as several construction companies.
“We found that we could quickly adapt to the process of manufacturing hand sanitizer and we have the capacity to make up to 1,000 gallons each week,” said Nick Lee, Co-founder of Lee Spirits Company. “There is a huge need for the product in Colorado. Our team is driven by a strong desire to do our part and provide this critical tool to the businesses who are meeting essential needs and saving lives.”
Along with manufacturing hand sanitizer, Lee Spirits’ distilling team continues to produce products available throughout these five states.
Lee Spirits hand sanitizer is manufactured at the company’s FDA approved facility. All sanitizers produced according to the World Health Organization guidelines (formula) and consists of 95% Ethanol - 83.33% Hydrogen Peroxide - 4.17% Glycerine - 2.18%Sterilized Water - 10.33%. Overall the product is 79.1% alcohol. Lee Spirits currently offers the following quantities; 4.75 gallons, 50 gallons and 270 gallons.
