Boise Cascade Company Expands Chester, South Carolina, Manufacturing Center
The company is investing an additional $17.5 million in the facility in a series of upgrade projects. In 2013, Boise Cascade acquired Chester Wood Products, a softwood plywood facility. Boise Cascade has continued to upgrade its existing Chester County operations located at 1445 Lancaster Highway in Chester, in response to growing customer demand.
In 2015, the company invested $23.5 million in a series of improvements to the facility, resulting in more efficient production capabilities and dozens of additional jobs. In total, Boise Cascade now has more than 295 full-time employees at its Chester County location.

With the state's strong manufacturing base, we've been fortunate to draw a skilled workforce from Chester and the surrounding communities, and we're always looking for talented people to join our team,” said Executive Vice President of Boise Cascade Company Mike Brown.
