Eagle Claw Fabrication to Invest $28M in Port of Muskogee, Oklahoma Wind Turbine Facility
06/30/2010
"Access to the McClellan-Kerr Waterway via the Port of Muskogee provides Eagle Claw with unique and substantive competitive advantages over other turbine tower manufacturers, including substantial transportation cost savings that can be passed along to its clients," said Eagle Claw Founder Tom Word.
The facility's site is adjacent to the Port's railcar marshaling yard, which connects to the Union Pacific Railroad in Muskogee.
Eagle Claw will also be able to fabricate offshore wind towers and heavy tubular structures for the geothermal, tidal, solar, hydrokinetic, biomass, and carbon capture industries.
