The project will include the lease and buildout of 163,095 square feet of office space at 11 Madison Avenue to support growth across engineering, sales, product, and corporate functions.
“Clay has been deeply shaped by its home in New York,” said Kareem Amin, CEO and Co-Founder of Clay. “We’ve thrived off the creativity, diversity, and energy of the city, and we’re excited to continue investing in the local community as we grow.” To support the project, Empire State Development is offering up to $9.96 million in performance-based Excelsior Jobs Program tax credits tied to job creation and investment.
“Clay’s expansion is a strong signal that New York continues to be a destination where innovative companies can start, scale, and succeed,” noted Hope Knight, President, CEO and Commissioner of Empire State Development. “This project will create high-quality jobs and advance cutting-edge work in artificial intelligence.”
Clay develops AI-powered go-to-market tools that help companies identify customers and personalize outreach using integrated data sources, serving businesses across multiple industries.
“New York City is the epicenter for artificial intelligence, driven by its unique concentration of talent, capital, and industry,” added Barry Gosin, CEO of Newmark. “The city’s workforce will continue to attract innovative companies and support growth in emerging technologies.”
