Jarrell Contracting Expands Hazelwood, Missouri, Operations

09/04/2026
Mechanical contractor Jarrell Contracting plans to expand its operations in Hazelwood, Missouri. The project is expected to create 105 jobs.

The project will include the construction of a new 191,000-square-foot headquarters and operations center featuring administrative offices, fabrication shops, warehousing, training, and field support.

“As a family-owned company, we've always believed our greatest strength is our people,” said Jarrell Contracting Executive Vice President Kimberly Jarrell. “This new headquarters creates an environment where our teams can collaborate more effectively, continue developing the next generation of talent, and better support our customers for years to come.”

To support the project, Jarrell Contracting will benefit from the Missouri Works Program, which provides access to capital through withholdings or tax credits for job creation. The company is estimated to receive $5,188,632 through the program, subject to verification of program requirements.

“By investing in its operations and workforce, Jarrell Contracting is creating new opportunities for Missourians while strengthening the St. Louis region’s economic foundation,” noted Missouri Department of Economic Development Director Michelle Hataway. “We’re proud to support this company as it grows in Missouri and contributes to our mission of helping Missourians prosper.”

Jarrell Contracting provides design-build mechanical services for commercial and industrial customers, including HVAC, piping, plumbing, refrigeration, and building automation systems.

“At STL Partnership, we want to see companies thrive and have the opportunity to expand here in St. Louis,” added St. Louis Economic Development Partnership President and CEO Rodney Crim. “This expansion from Jarrell Contracting will be beneficial to the St. Louis region.”
