Northeast Tool Expands Technology at Charlotte, North Carolina, Plant

The company has purchased four new milling and turning machining centers from DMG Mori USA to support increased customer demand and future growth. Northeast Tool's investment will include a NZX 1500 turning center, DMU 50 5-Axis Mill, DMU 65 monoBLOCK 5-Axis Mill, and a DMU 60 eVo linear with PH-150 robotic pallet handling.
Some highlights of the new machining centers include: 20,000 rpm spindle speeds, Traverse speeds of up to 3,400 ipm, a Fully Automated 8 pallet system and 5-Axis simultaneous machining.

This investment will drastically reduce our production times and allow for greater efficiencies in our operations."
Northeast Tool is an AS9100C & ISO 9001:2008 certified facility with a broad range of capabilities, including Multi-Axis Machining, Milling, Grinding, Wire EDM, Welding, Sheet Metal Fabrication, and Stamping.
