The company selected Gray Construction to design and build its 148,000 square foot greenfield manufacturing operation located on 18 acres in Bardstown, Kentucky. The new Bardstown facility will create some 180 jobs for the region.
“Breaking ground on our first U.S. facility is a significant step forward for Takigawa Corporation, and one we are proud to take alongside the people of Kentucky and Bardstown,” said Hiroyuki Takigawa, President of Takigawa Corporation.
“We again want to thank those who worked hard to make this project possible. That kind of support makes us confident this will be a successful venture that benefits the people of Nelson and surrounding counties for many, many years to come,” Takigawa added.
“Takigawa is an excellent addition to both the U.S. and Kentucky,” said Stephen Gray, President & CEO of Gray Construction. “Gray is thrilled to partner on its first U.S. manufacturing facility and is excited to see how this plant will impact the local and national economy.”
