The company’s new 300,000 square-foot facility will support emerging technologies such as electric vehicles. Operations are scheduled to begin in January 2026.
“While we have other locations across the country, this site uniquely balances access to skilled labor, cost-effectiveness and strategic positioning, making it an ideal choice for expanding our operations and meeting growing customer demand,” said Reza Kargarzadeh, EPC-Columbia, President & CEO.
To support the project the Ohio Tax Credit Authority approved a Job Creation Tax Credit.
“EPC-Columbia’s decision to grow again in Northwest Ohio is a testament to the region’s skilled workforce and deep manufacturing expertise,” noted J.P. Nauseef, President and CEO of JobsOhio. “This $13.5 million investment and 150 new jobs in Fremont demonstrate how Ohio’s economic development network creates the conditions where innovative companies can expand, diversify and lead in advancing next-generation industries.”
EPC-Columbia Inc. provides a full range of services, from initial design to mass production, for various industries like automotive, commercial, and industrial. As part of the larger Engineered Plastic Components (EPC) network, the company offers advanced capabilities such as CAD design, Moldflow analysis, prototyping, and manufacturing, including specialized processes like vacuum forming and two-shot injection molding.
