Custom Foods of America Expands Knoxville, Tennessee, Operations

Custom Foods of America Inc. plans to expand its manufacturing and distribution operations in Knoxville, Tennessee. The more than $51 million project is expected to create 249 jobs in Knox County.

The investment will include an additional 200,000 square feet for manufacturing, storage, staging and shipping.

“Custom Foods of America would like to thank Governor Lee, Commissioner McWhorter, and the State of Tennessee for partnering with us to add more jobs and expand our operations in the state. We look forward to many years of continued growth in Tennessee,” noted Graham Hunter, president, Custom Foods of America.

Custom Foods of America Inc. is a manufacturer and supplier of food products such as soups, side dishes, appetizers and sauces.

“Today’s announcement is proof that Knoxville and Tennessee have the right assets to attract and support companies like Custom Foods of America as they grow and expand. We are thrilled that Knox County will see nearly 250 new jobs as a result of this project and thank all our partners that worked together to bring this to fruition,” noted TNECD Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter.
