"The announcement today emphasizes the Port's mission of `investing in our community to support economic development' is the best investment we can make to increase family wage jobs and the quality of life for Clallam County residents," said port Commission President George Schoenfeldt.
The port will extend bonds to ACTI towards the project. The company expects to complete the first building by the end of 2011 and begin construction on the second building by the middle of 2012.
ACTI's customers include Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Bombardier. It currently employs 110 people at the port.
