05/21/2010
"Beckmann Volmer is the latest international company to select Arkansas as the home for its North American operations, and their commitment will bring quality jobs to Mississippi County," said Arkansas Governor Mike Beebe. "Our stature in the renewable energy sector continues to bring this type of economic investment to Arkansas."
Beckmann Volmer also received an incentive package from the state including $1.5 million from the Governor's Quick Action Closing Fund and $2.5 million from a community development block grant.
After initially investing and hiring 300 employees, the company may invest an additional $7.5 million in the facility and hire another 200 workers. Beckmann Volmer also has locations in Poland and China.
