Global Dental Science to Open $5 Million Plant in Scottsdale, AZ, and Create 150 Jobs

Global Dental Science has announced it will invest $5 million to open a new manufacturing facility in Scottsdale, AZ, expected to create 150 jobs over the next 12 months.

The 27,000-sq.ft. facility will exclusively manufacture the company's new product, AvaDent Digital Dentures. Each dentures set is a custom-fit, digital prosthetic made by using laser scanners and CAD/CAM technology to obtain precise measurements of a patient's unique dental features.

"We are excited to make Scottsdale.the home of our company headquarters," said company President Tim Thompson, "and we are proud, particularly in this challenging economic environment, to be creating quality jobs that providing training in sustainable skills."
