Vac-U-Lok Selects Greer, South Carolina, for Relocating Operations

Vac-U-Lok, a customized vacuum workholding systems company, has selected Greer, South Carolina, for a relocation of its operations. Vac-U-Lok was formerly located in Rockford, Illinois. The company will also add up to six new jobs over the coming months.

"This area is conducive to business growth and success, and has a tremendous demand for our product line and capabilities," said Vac-U-Lok President and Founder Doug Green. "We visited this area and fell in love with the diversity of the community, its quality of life, and the robust business environment. We see the sky as the limit for Vac-U-Lok in Greenville County."

Vac-U-Lok will occupy a 4,000-square-foot existing facility. The company plans to partner with local work force organizations to recruit employees by the end of the fourth quarter 2010. Vac-U-Lok serves industries including aerospace, automotive, medical devices, defense, and consumer goods.
