WuXi AppTec Forms Biotech Centers of Excellence in San Diego, California

WuXi AppTec, a leading global pharmaceutical and medical device open-access capability and technology platform company, is expanding its facilities in San Diego, California.

WuXi AppTec's newly expanded facility will establish a center of excellence in screening, discovery biology, pharmacology, and small molecule process R&D including phase I GMP manufacturing. According to company officials, the expansion will provide key elements of WuXi's small molecule capability and technology platform under one roof, further enhancing services to North American pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
