The investment will include the transformation of the former JoAnn Stores Distribution Center in the Northeast Opelika Industrial Park.
“Faith Technologies’ $79 million investment in Opelika demonstrates Alabama’s growing strength as a premier destination for advanced manufacturing and innovation,” said Alabama Department of Commerce Secretary Ellen McNair. “This project brings 200 high-quality jobs to East Alabama, reinforcing our state’s competitive advantages—a skilled workforce, strategic location and pro-business climate.”
Faith Technologies is a principal brand within Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI), providing comprehensive electrical planning, engineering, design, and installation services. The company specializes in critical power infrastructure, systems integration, preconstruction management, and end-to-end solutions for commercial, industrial, healthcare, data center, and renewable energy projects.
“Faith Technologies’ decision to locate in Opelika is a strong endorsement of our community, our workforce and our long-term economic vision,” noted John Sweatman, Economic Development Director for the City of Opelika. “Their innovative approach to modular manufacturing and their role in supporting the rapidly expanding data and AI sector fit squarely within the type of forward-looking, high-quality growth we are working to attract.”
