03/22/2016
With existing operations in Columbia and Charleston, the company’s new Greenville County facility will be its third in the Palmetto State. The new office will be located at 300 Executive Center Drive in Greenville.
Established in 1997 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Total Quality Logistics has grown into one of the largest freight brokerage firms in North America. With 44 offices nationwide, TQL employs more than 3,800 workers in 20 states. Connecting customers that have freight shipping needs with capable carriers, the firm facilitated the movement of more than one million truck loads last year.
“We are pleased to announce our third office in South Carolina with the opening of TQL Greenville. By building on our success in South Carolina, we are building on our position as a leader in the third-party logistics business. Greenville is a good fit for us with its access to a deep pool of professional talent,” said TQL President Kerry Byrne.
“It’s exciting to see one of the country’s fastest-growing companies make the decision to open a new office in our state. With this investment, Total Quality Logistics is creating 75 new jobs in Greenville County and continuing to show a real commitment to the people of South Carolina,” Governor Nikki Haley said.
“Today’s announcement by Total Quality Logistics is a testament to the logistics advantages and pro-business environment that South Carolina offers. We’re excited to have such a dynamic company establish operations in the Upstate and look forward to their success in our state for many years to come,” Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt added.
