Volvo Group Plans Tacoma, Washington, Distribution Operations
12/29/2025
The company’s new 115,000-square-foot regional distribution center will support customers in the Northwest U.S. and Western Canada. Operations are scheduled to begin in the first quarter of 2027.
“This facility represents a significant expansion to the Volvo Group’s parts distribution capabilities, allowing us to reduce transportation lead times and improve reliability, especially for dealers in the more remote areas of Western Canada,” said Peter Andell, vice president of service market logistics for Volvo Group North America.
Volvo Group is a manufacturer of trucks, buses, construction equipment, and marine and industrial engines. The company currently operates independently from Volvo Cars and sells its products under brands such as Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, and Renault Trucks.
