Auto Supplier Locating in Georgia

DongNam Tech, a Korea-based supplier of floor mats for the automotive sector, will locate its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Columbus, Georgia. The company will invest $29 million to build a 100,000-square-foot factory that will manufacture automotive carpets and floor mats for Hyundai, Kia, General Motors, and Nissan vehicles. More than 350 jobs will be created when the plant goes into full production in January 2009. DongNam Tech will create a new company subsidiary called DNT Georgia for the new facility. The company also has a distribution center in Michigan.
