M-D Building Products Investing $4M in New Oklahoma City Distribution Facility

M-D Building Products will build an 80,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center in Oklahoma City, investing $4 million. The company, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, develops and manufactures residential and commercial weatherproofing products for doors and windows.

"Oklahoma City has been our home since 1920, and provides us with a very dedicated and productive work force. It is with great pleasure that we formally announce our expansion during this, our 90th anniversary celebration. We are very excited about our long-term future in Oklahoma City," said Loren Plotkin, M-D president and CEO.

The company will begin construction immediately, and expects to complete the facility within six months. M-D also operates a 450,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution plant in Oklahoma City that employs more than 450 people.
