Merit Medical Systems Creating 75 Jobs in Chesterfield County, Virginia

Merit Medical Systems is expanding operations in Chesterfield County, Virginia. The company will create 75 jobs and invest $1 million.

"We are excited to expand our operations in Chesterfield County, where we have found highly-skilled employees and great access to the East Coast," said Fred P. Lampropoulos, Merit Chairman and CEO. "Our business there is thriving even in these uncertain economic times."

Merit develops, manufactures, and distributes proprietary disposable medical devices used in interventional and diagnostic procedures, especially in the cardiology, radiology, and gastroenterology fields. It has facilities around the world.
