Team Industrial Services Inc. Expands Operations In Sugar Land, Texas
11/22/2016
As part of the project, sparked as part of its recent acquisition of the Furmanite Corporation, Team will occupy 59,000 square feet of office space at 13131 Dairy Ashford in Sugar Land, expanding its corporate headquarters.
"Our Company is delighted to expand its corporate headquarters in Sugar Land," said Ted Owen, CEO of Team Industrial Services, Inc. "We look forward to the continued partnership with the city of Sugar Land."
"The City of Sugar Land is proud to be the home of Team Industrial's corporate headquarters," said SLDC President Steve Porter. "Sugar Land continues to be an economic powerhouse in the region thanks to our pro-business climate and family-oriented quality of life. We look forward to a continued partnership with Team."
An incentive package was created by the City's Office of Economic Development and was approved by Sugar Land Development Corporation to secure the retention of 100 jobs and expansion of an additional 113 jobs in Sugar Land.
According to city officials, the Team's merger with Furmanite approximately doubles the size of its mechanical services capabilities and establishes a deeper, broader talent and resource pool that better supports customers across standard and specialty mechanical services. With the recent acquisition, senior management explored options for consolidation of their corporate headquarters operations and decided to increase their existing footprint in Sugar Land.
