BuildMyMove Relocates U.S. HQ to Overland Park, Kansas

BuildMyMove has selected Overland Park, Kansas, as the site of its new U.S. headquarters. The company is relocating from Akron, Pennsylvania. BuildMyMove will create 50 new jobs in Kansas by the end of the year and more than 100 jobs in the next five years.

"After many months of research and analysis with our partners at Five Elms Capital, we decided on Overland Park for our new site," said BuildMyMove COO Rich Cray. "We believe the Kansas City area is the best location to grow a business given the low cost of living, cultural opportunities and highly educated population. The city ranks first in the United States for engineering talent on a per capita basis."

The Kansas Department of Commerce will contribute tax credits towards the relocation and expansion.
