The firm provides a tool for health insurers and health plan administrators to bring together consumers and healthcare providers based on pricing and quality information. eLuminate Health’s system will support standardized procedure pricing to enable payment and automated pre-authorization process.
“eLuminate Health is pleased to be part of the growing healthcare innovation corridor in Leawood,” said Tami Hutchison, CEO and founder of eLuminate Health. “We have received strong support from area investors that believe our services will dramatically decrease health expenses for consumers/employers while also decreasing operating costs for providers. By launching our services in Kansas, we are making a commitment to make the area even better for business growth by improving the value of healthcare.”
“As we all know, the cost of healthcare has been escalating at very rapid rates for many, many years,” said Kevin Jeffries, president & CEO, Leawood Chamber of Commerce. “eLuminate Health’s services, linking employers, health care providers, and health insurance providers, offers the potential to provide considerable savings in the delivery of health care services to employees. We’re extremely pleased that they have chosen Leawood for their corporate headquarters.”
“eLuminate Health is going to create a lot of great jobs and make a significant capital investment in our state,” Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George said. “It’s terrific for our economy when an innovative new company chooses Kansas as the place it wants to operate.”
