Blue Ribbon Transport Chooses New Indianapolis HQ

Blue Ribbon Transport will establish a new headquarters in Indianapolis, a project that will create up to 75 new jobs by 2014. The company will invest $1 million to buy an existing facility near Lawrence, Indiana.

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation has extended Blue Ribbon up to $575,000 in performance-based tax credits based on the company's job creation plans. Develop Indy will support property tax abatement pending approval by the Metropolitan Development Commission.

Blue Ribbon is a third-party logistics provider whose services include transportation, warehousing, and forward distribution.
