Accentf(x) LLC, Plans To Expand Its Direct Mail Operations Center In Jeffersonville, Indiana
04/25/2013
“Our experience working in southern Indiana for nearly a decade has been extremely positive and beneficial,” said Patrick Scheen, chief executive officer of Accentf(x). “Our anticipated growth in the coming years coupled with the strong and readily available labor pool weighed heavily in our decision to retain our direct mail facility in Indiana. We look forward to continuing our strong partnership with the IEDC and One Southern Indiana while also forging a prosperous new partnership with the community.”
A spin off from Jeffersonville-based ACCENT Marketing Services, Accentf(x) uses data-driven analytics to provide direct marketing campaigns and strategies for the manufacturing, retail, financial and insurance industries. The company produces approximately two million pieces of direct mail content per week in addition to supporting online and email marketing activities designed to drive consumer response. The firm which has 26 full-time employees, with plans to increase its workforce to about 61, has already begun hiring additional data entry associates and lettershop operators.
“Accenf(x)’s growth in Indiana is further validation of the confidence companies have in our prosperous business climate,” said Eric Doden, president of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation. “We know these jobs could have gone anywhere, but once again our low-tax policies and talented workforce made Indiana stand out as a state that works for business.”
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation offered Accentf(x) LLC up to $225,000 in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning until Hoosiers are hired, the company is not eligible to claim incentives. The city of Jeffersonville will consider additional tax abatement at the request of One Southern Indiana.
