John Guttery, President of Ecolab Latin America, said, “Miramar was an ideal location for our Latin America regional headquarters because of its healthy infrastructure, strong talent pool and great transportation connections to the region. Our business in Latin America is growing rapidly, and this investment underscores our commitment to the region.”
“Ecolab’s decision to establish its Latin America regional headquarters in Miramar is great news for Florida. With this move, Ecolab will be creating 50 new jobs for Floridians. I look forward to Ecolab’s continued growth and success as we work to make Florida the global leader for business," said Bill Johnson, President/CEO of Enterprise Florida.
Cissy Proctor, Executive Director of the Department of Economic Opportunity, said, “The 50 new jobs coming to South Florida as a result of Ecolab’s new Latin America regional headquarters will provide more opportunities to many families. Florida’s talent pool and global infrastructure will help Ecolab continue to be successful as they grow in our community.”
Governor Rick Scott said, “I am proud to announce that Ecolab has chosen Florida as the best place to establish their new Latin America regional headquarters. Not only is Florida the gateway to Latin America, but our work to cut taxes and grow jobs has also made our state the best place for global businesses like Ecolab to grow.
