Kansas Welcomes Call Center

Hiring is underway in Topeka, Kansas, for positions with Alorica, Inc., a customer service management firm that plans to open an inbound customer-service call center in Topeka, hiring up to 700 positions by the end of this year. The company's multimillion-dollar investment, which Alorica founder and CEO Andy Lee says was partially influenced by tax repeal on business machines and equipment, requires specific minimums on the number of new positions and hourly wages. Alorica anticipates long-term potential of up to 1,000 full-time positions.
