Consumer Product Manufacturer Expanding in Indiana

KIK Custom Products, a manufacturer of consumer products for household cleaning, over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, and laundry segments, will expand its operations in Elkhart, Indiana, with a $7 million investment. The expansion will include adding three new production lines, three new gashouses, and a new compounding operation KIK's 1.2 million-square-foot facility. More than 190 jobs are planned by the end of 2009. State and local incentives include performance-based tax credits, training grants, and property tax abatement. The Canada-based company already employs 700 at the Elkhart facility.
