McAfee Opens Chile Facility
05/07/2010
"This expansion of McAfee Labs will help us improve the McAfee customer experience and allow for more technical innovation," said Jeff Green, senior vice president for McAfee Labs.
McAfee chose Santiago after a rigorous, international search. The city's infrastructure, the country's political and economic stability, government incentives, and work force clinched the decision. The company has also been working with local universities for recruitment and curriculum collaboration.
McAfee, which produces anti-virus computer software and other computer safety products, has more than 6,000 employees in offices in Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
