ANS Plans Columbus, Ohio, Headquarters Operations

07/02/2026
Engineering firm ANS plans to establish operations in Columbus, Ohio. The project is expected to create 13 jobs.

The company will purchase and renovate a historic building at 34-38 W. Gay Street that will serve as its new headquarters, consolidating executive leadership and corporate operations.

“Columbus stood out to us as a place where a growing company could build for the long term, and a place which supported an incredible quality of life for our team,” said Vatsal Shah, CEO of ANS. “The talent base, the business climate and the sense of community all made a real impression. We have grown quickly in Columbus, and moving our headquarters here reflects how strongly we believe in this city, our team and the opportunity to keep building from the center of a dynamic and growing region.”

JobsOhio plans to provide assistance for the project, which will be made public after a final agreement is executed.

“ANS is shaping America’s next generation of infrastructure, and it has found a new headquarters location with advantages in recruiting talent and growing with confidence in the Columbus Region,” noted J.P. Nauseef, President and CEO of JobsOhio. “This investment strengthens an industry that is becoming increasingly important to our state’s long-term economic success.”

ANS provides geotechnical, civil, structural, electrical, environmental, and laboratory testing services for the renewable energy, power, and infrastructure sectors. The company supports projects involving solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), substations, transmission, and other critical infrastructure.

“Engineering firms like ANS are helping shape the physical systems that power economic growth, from energy infrastructure to site development,” added Jonas Peterson, Chief Economic Development Officer and President of One Columbus. “Their decision to put their national headquarters in Downtown Columbus speaks to the strength of this market, the depth of talent here and the advantages of building a business in the center of a fast-growing region. This is the kind of investment that creates jobs today and strengthens the Region’s competitive position for the future.”
