UnitedHealthcare to Hire 75 Employees in NY

UnitedHealthcare will hire 75 new employees at its Tonawanda, NY, facility, in the areas of customer service, claims processing and case management according to a story by Business First.

Opened in 2005 with 300 workers, the center now employs over 500 associates. They support the firm's various individual health plan business in New York and throughout the U.S.

"We are excited about our continued growth in the community and appreciate our business partners' and employees' help in filling these critical positions," said Site Director Karen Bogdan. "We look forward to welcoming more employees into the UnitedHealthcare family in the coming months."

UnitedHealthcare is part of UnitedHealth Group, which serves over 38 million members nationwide via commercial employer plans and government plans (e.g. Medicare and Medicaid).
