A majority of investors plan to spend on commercial real estate over the next year, Jones Lang LaSalle finds.
10/13/2010
According to the survey, 85 percent of investors planned to increase investment in commercial real estate in the next year. That's an increase from 74 percent who said the same in a survey conducted this spring.
Nearly half of respondents said China would be the most active investor, especially due to its sovereign wealth fund, CIC. Experts predict CIC to invest up to $15 billion in property over the next 18 months. German and Middle Eastern investors are also expected to be top spenders.
