This $2.9 million investment will allow the firm to centralize its various operations in the Lowcountry, with the firm expected to create 41 new jobs.
Established in 2015, Mission Solutions Group is a family of premier companies providing dedicated mission critical support in the communications, cyber-security and sustainment verticals to support the U.S. military. It currently manages four businesses, including: Marshall Communications Corp., a satellite communications and IT sales business; Sidecar Enterprises, Inc., a spare parts and logistics business; BlueJay Products, a diesel exhaust fluid manufacturer; and, Morgan-6, a software services provider.
“We are excited to expand our presence here in the Charleston area as we continue to grow our business. It is a terrific location with a tremendous amount to offer and will play a key role in enhancing our ability to attract and retain critical talent, avail ourselves of the service and capabilities in the area and network with other defense contractors that are all over the Lowcountry,” Mission Solutions Group Co-Founder & CEO Damon Walsh said.
“Damon and I established our residencies in Charleston as part of working with Force Protection Industries several years ago and from the minute we decided to start this business have known Charleston would be the optimal location for us to grow this enterprise,” Mission Solutions Group Co-Founder & COO Kevin Ferraro added.
“When a great company like Mission Solutions Group chooses to expand its existing operations in South Carolina, it’s yet another testament to the fact that our state is ‘Just right’ for business. The 41 new jobs that this investment is creating will make a real difference in Charleston County, and we look forward to what the future has in store for Mission Solutions Group,” said Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt.
