Gluten-Free Food Producer Schar Selects Logan, New Jersey, for First U.S. Facility

As we look to become the U.S. market leader in gluten-free foods and innovation, New Jersey is a perfect location to support our national distribution and growth."
Schar graduated from the Rutgers Food Innovation Center. It will invest more than $15 million in the facility and will create more than 50 jobs. The initial site plans are for a 50,000-square-foot space, with the option to add another 30,000 square feet.
Schar produces gluten-free breads, pasta, cookies, crackers, and frozen meals.
